Program Overview
Let’s start with the bad thing about joining Fiverr’s program.
The first thing to remember is that the platform pays you a commission only for orders placed by first time buyers (FTBs). FTBs are not people who already have an account on Fiverr, even though they have never bought anything.
Now let’s talk about the good things; what’s great about the Fiverr affiliate program is that all links include a 12-month tracking cookie. If someone clicks on your link and buys something within 12 months, you will get a commission for that order.
Another advantage of the affiliate program is that you can promote your links to people in 160 countries. Simply put, if the buyer is not from the US, but from an approved country on the list, you will be paid your commission.
Additionally, affiliates can use deep links to directly promote products and further improve sales. This means that they can plug in a direct link to the product or service, thereby allowing the buyer to make a purchase right away.
Commissions earned on Fiverr can be withdrawn to your PayPal or bank account. The platform pays out commissions once per month, but only if you have earned more than $100.

Even though Fiverr courses primarily target freelancers who are already on the platform, anyone can take these courses. The commission for every course order is $30.

How to Make Money With the Fiverr Affiliate Program
How should you promote the Fiverr affiliate program and make decent money?
Just as with any other program, there are multiple ways you can do so. I will cover the ones which I think have the biggest earning potential, specifically for this program.
1) Create an ultimate guide around your niche and recommend services on Fiverr for each step of your guide.
Let’s say you have a website about blogging; you could write an ultimate guide about starting a blog and mention WordPress website development, the importance of having a professional logo, etc.
Under each section, you could recommend a relevant freelancer on Fiverr who could do the job for them.
Ultimate guides are great, as you can include links for various services and increase your chances of someone buying from one of your links.
2) Mention services which you have personally bought on Fiverr within your content.
Let’s say you write an article about the best platforms for buying a logo. You would include Fiverr in the list and mention that the logo for your website was designed by a freelancer from the platform. If people like your logo, they will definitely wonder about the price and other factors, and click on your link.
Or let’s say you write an article about outsourcing blog posts. You could again list a couple of different platforms and include Fiverr. At the end of the article, you could say that it was written by a freelancer from Fiverr. If your article was well-written, you would likely get many conversions from your link.
3) Write an ultimate review of Fiverr or comparison of freelancing platforms.
Fiverr pays you a commission only if a person who has never bought anything on the platform places an order. So if you write a review of the platform, it’s a given that most of your readers will be people who are new to Fiverr and want to learn more about it.
4) Promote affiliate links on targeted Facebook groups and forums.
Fiverr has around 200 categories which you can promote. For many of these, you will be able to find dedicated or related Facebook groups and forums (or at least threads within forums).
If you just spam your affiliate link everywhere, I guarantee that you will not have success. Instead, try to provide value by answering questions and insert your affiliate link as a recommendation.
Let’s say you want to promote WordPress services on Fiverr which have a decent, $40 commission.
Think about who your target audience would be: in this case, people who are interested in starting a blog, for instance. By typing a keyword ‘blogging for beginners’, I found many groups which would be perfect for my affiliate link.
This way, you can find many related Facebook groups on which you can promote your affiliate links.
If you want to make $3000 a month, you should focus on promoting services that have CPA $50, such as:

Preferably, you should promote Fiverr Pro services which all have CPA $150.
If you want to use the platform for affiliate marketing and make $3000 a month, then you only need 20 people to buy Fiverr Services from your links.
It’s not difficult to get to this number, especially if you have a website with a steady flow of traffic.
If you don’t have a website or you have just started one, then you may want to primarily focus on promoting Fiverr though social media, as your articles would not get that many visits from the get-go.

Fiverr Pro caps the commission at $150; this means that even if the buyer purchases a service worth $10,000, you will get a commission of $150 only.
You need to be careful of what you’re promoting as not all gigs on Fiverr are of great quality.
It is quite clear though that the pros of the Fiverr affiliate program outweigh its disadvantages. If you approach promoting Fiverr the right way, you can easily make $3000 per month.
Fiverr Referral Program
Besides the affiliate program, Fiverr also has its own referral program – and there are many differences between the two.
For example, you don’t need to fill in a sign-up form to join the referral program, you only need to be registered on the platform as a buyer or a seller.
If you have a Fiverr account, then you can simply access the referral program from your account. To do so, click on your user image and select “Refer & Get Up to $100.”
How to navigate to Fiverr refferal program
The most important thing you need to know about the Fiverr referral program is that you don’t get paid to your PayPal or bank account as in the affiliate program, but you only receive Fiverr credits ($500 is currently the max).
If someone buys from your link, you get a 20% discount of their first order amount on your next order (capped at $100 USD). The person who makes a purchase through your link also gets a 20% discount. But similar to the affiliate program, the person needs to be a first-time-buyer.
So while you will not make any money with the Fiverr referral program, you can at least save up to $500 on your next order.
